My CDs didn't make it here until I was away, so I didn't get to listen to them on my trip.  (I also didn't buy any CDs on vacation because I never went to a store that actually sold CDs and even if I had, I was tight on money.)  I'm sure someone's posted this album on LJ by now, but I hope I mention something that no one else knew before about this ( Read more... )

The full MVs for Jay's newest albums haven't been showing up on YouTube as quickly as on YouKu.  It's pretty easy to find the previews, but not the full MVs.  This one was the one I had trouble finding on YouTube that I most wanted to see.  (For the pretty instruments and pretty clothes!)

Has anyone heard a Mainland Chinese version of "Superman Can't Fly"?!  I downloaded the album off of Douban just to see how it was, and I hear "超好" instead of "超屌" in the lyrics to this one song!  I thought I imagined it at first, but sure enough, I found a "Mainland version" of the lyrics with a Google search.

I know this name may be new to some, but here's some background.  Everyone reading knows who Jay Chou is, right?  Jacky Wu is the guy who really noticed Jay and became his mentor.  Before Jay became a singer, before he got really famous, he wrote a lot of songs for other people.  This compilation contains five of those songs.
